This performance task shows my viewers the importance of optimism, this leads to never giving up and always trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A lot that has to do with our mood comes from nature itself. Nature has two tones that can be portrayed. It can be shown as sad, evil and dark as well as bright and happy. Keeping an optimistic mindset no matter the weather can get you to happiness and may lead you to the light at the end of the tunnel. The way people describe me would be optimistic and expecting of others. It is very important to see the good that comes with nature and to respect the beauty that comes with it. I have a great connection with nature and won't let the darkness get the best of me. In order to demonstrate this I choose to express this by using the sky, I set a timer and placed my camera strategically so that I would be able to include my happy facial expression in both photos. I stood in the rule of thirds position in order for my viewers to see the differences in the colour up in the sky. In order to show this I took the second photo and used my photoshop skills to change the brightness of tones. I have hoped to leave my viewers with the knowing that I value the importance of being optimistic no matter how dark life can get.
